Shera D (Johanningsmeier) Mize

Shera D. “Johanningsmeier” Mize 75, of Washington went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

Shera was born on February 12, 1947 in Vincennes, IN to the late William Johanningsmeier and Deloris Davis Johanningsmeier.

Shera was a waitress and enjoyed socializing with others; she was a devoted member of Bethel Christian Church and was also devoted to her family. She enjoyed; working in her yard, simply being outside, playing pool, spending time with her family, and spending time with her beloved dog, Chance.

She is survived by; her loving children, Brett Mize (Carrie) of Atlanta, IN, Melissa Murray (Terry) of Washington,IN and Steve Mize (Carma Rude) of Washington, IN; grandchildren, Jeff Mize, Blake Mize (Madison), Paige Quinn (Chris) Drew Murray (Estralia), Brittany Murray, Justin Mize,Kaitlyn Mize, and Addison Mize; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; her parents; ex-husband, Douglas Mize Sr.; a son, Douglas Mize Jr., and a brother, Tony Ray Johanningsmeier. 

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Bicknell Chapel from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. with a funeral immediately following.
