Sharon Ilean (Webb) McCarter

Sharon Ilean McCarter born February 16,1951, went to be with the Lord March 20,2023.  In peaceful passing she was surrounded by her loving family, after living a full life doing the things she loved. Her many joys included being a Mother, Mamaw, Sister, Aunt, and friend to everyone she met. She was an amazing listener and the most caring and kind person. She had many jobs through the years all based in the compassion and care for other people. She was a EMT, CNA, OB tech, for many years. She never cared how bad she felt on any given day as long as she could positively impact someone else’s day she was happy. There was a light that came from her that was almost infectious, she could lift the spirit of a room just by being in it. 

Sharon was the Daughter of Lyle and Betty “June” Webb of Sullivan County Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 54 years Billy Mack McCarter, Grandsons Lance Mccarter, Brandon Cooper, her parents, Brothers Larry Webb, Johnnie Carter Webb, and Lyle Webb II. 

She was survived by her Daughter Marni McCarter, Son Billy (Misty) McCarter.  Grandchildren Jamey (Russell) Cooper, Heather (BJ) Everett, Jessica Wheeler, Brittany McCarter, Felicity Walker, and Burke McCarter. Great Grandchildren Cheyenne, Mckinzie, Macey, Bobby, Rory, Braelynn, Rhett, Ember, Harley, Jaxon, Hayden, Jensen, Lyla, Dakota, and Jaxson.  Siblings Sue (Bob) Meeks, Gary (Debbie) Webb, Joanna (Ron) Lowery, Amy (Brian) Deckard, Andy Webb, William Webb and her four dogs that meant the world to her. 

Arrangements were entrusted to Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes Vincennes Chapel.  Graveside services will be held March 29, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes Indiana at 2:00.Officiated by Amber Evans. All are welcome reception to follow at Blossom Hill.
