Sharon Sue (Kirk) Dunkerly

Sharon Sue Dunkerly, 83 of Freelandville, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 18, 2021.

Sharon was born in Terre Haute on April 25, 1938 to the late Dale Kirk and Lillian Hollingsworth Kirk.

Sharon was a reading aid for North Knox School Corp; previously she was a telephone operator for Indiana bell, She was a member of Bethel Church and enjoyed fellowship with her family and church family. She loved to walk with her friends, read, and spend time with her family.

Sharon is survived by; her children, Cheryl Earley (Richard) of Oaktown, and Kevin Dunkerly (Kim) of Bruceville; three grandchildren, Joseph Grant Earley, Cole Earley, Shaunessy Dunkerly; and two great-grandchildren, Brylie and Breea Earley; one brother, Jerry Kirk (Nancy).

She was preceded in death by; parents; spouse, Gordon Dunkerly; one grandson, Kevin Lee Dunkerly; and two brothers, Billy Owen Kirk and James Kirk.

There will be visitation on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Bethel Church from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. with a service at 12:00 P.M. with burial immediately following in Bethel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to North Knox Nurses Fund, P.O.
