Paul Frederick McGiffen

Paul Fredrick McGiffen, 64 of Bicknell was called home to be with the Lord, with his family, and his church family by his side on Friday, July 9, 2021. Paul was born on January 10, 1957 in Vincennes to the late Donald E. McGiffen, and Barbara “Wissing” McGiffen. He married the love of his life, Linda Sturgeon, on Saturday,June 30, 1979. Paul was a member of the Xtreme Nazarene Church, and Celebrate Recovery at the CCC Recovery in Bicknell. It is said that he helped many people find their way to the Lord. 
Paul was a very sociable people person all the way to the end, an avid music lover, and he had a deep compassion for animals. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his younger years. Paul attended St. John’s grade school, and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. He received an associate degree from a Diesel Mechanic school in Nashville Tennessee, and was a maintenance worker at Hamilton Glass for 21 years. 
Paul is survived by his children; Ericha McGiffen Earles (Allyson) of Vincennes, and Erin McGiffen White (Late Joe White) of Bicknell, ; 3 Grandchildren; Damien White, Paul White, and Eli White.  Two sisters Jane (Robert) Manthe of Vincennnes and Virginia (Gary) Wild of Greenwood Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne McGiffen, and his sister Mary Francis Heiska. 
There will be a visitation on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 4:00 P.M until the time of service at 7:00 P.M. held at the Xtreme Nazarene Church with Pastor Brad Delp officiating. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Xtreme Nazarene Church.
