Nancy Ann (Boddy) Benjamin

Nancy Ann (Boddy)  Benjamin, 62 of Washington went to her heavenly home on December 26, 2022.

Nancy was born on December 20, 1960 in Ill to the late Barbara (Madden) Boddy and Arthur Boddy.

Nancy was a beautiful soul who overcame many obstacles in her life. She was in an accident her senior year of high school that left her with disabilities despite all odds, Nancy still was able to obtain an Associate Degree from Vincennes University, marry, and have two sons, who meant the world to her. She was a very positive person and had the help of her parents, sisters, and sons pushing her forward. Nancy enjoyed playing games and going to the beach. She had recently been attending The Free Methodist Church but growing up was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Those left to mourn Nancy are; her two sons, Jacob Benjamin (Lindsay) and Lucas Benjamin; sisters, Paula Fitzsimons (Steve Larson), Debra Ryan (Mark), and Brenda Rainey (Scott); companion, Dasil Keith Mills Jr; and four grandsons, Xavier, Declan, Jensen, and Nicholas; and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by; parents, an infant brother, and grandchild.

There will be a memorial visitation held at the Christ United Methodist , 104 N. Meridian Street, IN 47501 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 2, 2023 and again Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 10:00 A.M until 11:00 A.M. also at the church with a service immediately following. Burial will take place at a later date at Sugarland Memory Gardens. Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with Nancy’s arrangements.
