Melissa Ann (Benson) Hudson

Melissa Ann Hudson, 52 of Vincennes, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

Melissa was born in Vincennes on September 30, 1968 to Max Benson Sr. and Marilyn Little Benson.

Melissa was a nurse and was employed by various nursing homes in the area. She enjoyed; her grandchildren, family, fishing, and going to lunch with her friends, as she was very personable. She was a member of the Thursday Church.

She is survived by; mother, Marilyn Benson; children, Joshua Swan of Citrus County, FL, Megan Schlomer of Vincennes, and Jordan Switzer (Jasmaine) of Vincennes; 1 brother, Max Benson Jr. (Carmen) of Vincennes; 8 grandchildren; 8 grandchildren.Bentley,Chloe,Levi,Haley,Caledon,Axton,Evern and Arlowyn.2 step grandchildren Nicholas and Andelin; and 2 nephews, Jacob and Zachary Benson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Max Benson Sr.

As she sits in Heaven
and watches us everyday. She will try and
let us know with signs. She never
went away. She hears us

and watches us as
we sleep. She even places her arms
around us, to calm us as
we weep. She sees us wish the days away,
Begging to have her
Home. 
So she‘ll try and send,
us signs. So we know
we’re not alone. Don‘t feel guilty
for our lives, lives denied to her.
Heaven
is truly beautiful, just
you wait and see! So live your life,
laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free.
Then She’ll know with each breath we take,
we‘ll be taking one for her.
