Mary Frances Teising

Mary Frances Teising 78 of Vincennes passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. 

Mary was born in Vincennes on March 10, 1943 to the late Margaret Clifton Teising and Otto Teising.

Mary was the Text Book Manager at Vincennes University Bookstore. 

She was a “Rosette” graduating from Saint Rose Academy in 1961. A member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, the first woman president of the Vincennes Kiwanis Club, and active participant of her Mahjong group.

Mary is survived by; daughter, Jennifer Teising of West Lafayette; granddaughter, Maggie Teising; siblings, John Teising (Linda Mothershed) of Bloomington; nephews, John Teising II and Jason (Emily) Teising, niece, Abbie Teising (Derek) Pielemeier; great-nephews, Nolan, Eli and Gavin Teising, and Reid Pielemeier.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Raymond and Bob Teising.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John’s Catholic Church, 803 Main St. Vincennes, IN 47591, Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with burial following at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
