Margaret Jeanette (Pry) Kitchell

Margaret Jeanette Kitchell, 88 of Vincennes, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

She was born in Vincennes, IN to the late Fred Earl Pry and Elvira Lorraine Fields Pry.

Margaret married William N.  Kitchell in 1973 and lived in Vincennes, IN. William passed away on December 14, 2014. She enjoyed crocheting and seeing the smiles on the faces of those she gifted  her afghans to. Margaret loved to cook, bake, particularly cookies. Her passion was bowling, and scratching lottery tickets. She was a member of the Vincennes First Church of God and loved to sing and looked forward to fellowship with her church family.

Margaret’s survivors include her children, James and Gerry Soltwedel of Yoder Colorado, Dennis and Mary Jane Soltwedel of Vincennes IN,  Karla and Frank Wilhite of Vincennes IN, Jeff and Robin Soltwedel of Bicknell IN, Debbie and Mike Richards of Vincennes IN, Steve and Lynnette Soltwedel of Spartanburg, South Carolina.  17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, and one brother, Sam Pry of Stagecoach, Nevada.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Eugene and Jerry Pry and a sister Carol Kitchell. And her beloved grandson Daniel Risley, and her first husband William E. Soltwedel.

There will a memorial service held at a later date. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel is honored to be entrusted with Margaret’s arrangements.
