Joyce Kixmiller Obituary

Joyce Evelyn Kixmiller, 76 of Freelandville, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 14, 2020.

Joyce was born in Sullivan County on April 30, 1944 to the late Fred Hay and Dorothy Wallace Hay.

Joyce was a gifted organist and pianist; she enjoyed children and ran a daycare for much of her life. She loved spending time with her family and her husband, Tom who she spent 57 years of marriage with. Joyce was a member of Bethel Church.

She leaves behind; her loving husband, Tom Kixmiller; children, Stacey Kixmiller of Evansville, Jason Kixmiller (Debbie) of Washington, and Ben Kixmiller(Tara) of Vincennes; two sisters, Mildred Hovis of Muncie, and Betty Bedwell of Carlisle; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by; her parents; a son, Tim Kixmiller; and 3 brothers, Fred, Jim, and Charles Hay.

Visitation will be at Bethel  Church, 13673 E. State Road 58, Edwardsport, IN 47528 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 with a service immediately following officiated by Pastor Mike DeCoursey. Burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery.Fredrick and Son Funeral Homes, Bicknell Chapel is honored to serve the Kixmiller family.
