Joshua N. Vancil, aged 45, of Washington, Indiana, passed away on March 25, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and mentorship. Joshua was born on October 6, 1978, a son to the late Sherry Vancil, and was predeceased by his cherished infant daughter, Alli Vancil.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Connie Carlson (Jones) Vancil, children Molli, Jackson and, Clifton Vancil and step-son, Benjamin Wagler, his brother Sean Vancil, and his beloved extended Lighthouse family. Joshua dedicated himself to the clerical staff at Recovery Center where his passion for helping others was only surpassed by his devotion to praising the Lord.
Joshua's commitment to his faith community at Victory Community Church and his role as a mentor at the Light House were testaments to his generous spirit. His guidance touched many lives, and his memory will be honored as a beacon of hope for those he so lovingly supported in their journey toward recovery. His presence will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral Home in Washington, IN from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a service immediately following also at the funeral home with Pastor Pete Aldrich officiating.
