John Ryder Obituary

John A. Ryder 84, of Bruceville, passed away February 15, 2021 at the Willow Manor Nursing Home in Vincennes surrounded by his family. John was born Friday, May 29th, 1936 in Westport Illinois, the Son of George and Rosella (Doll) Ryder. John graduated from the Bruceville High school, and went to work for Weeds hardware, and he later took a job at Vincennes Steel until he retired. John is survived by three sisters: Irma Westfall of Ragsdale IN, Mary (Harold) Glass of Vincennes, Agnes Painter of Claremont Il, several nieces, nephews, and his best buddy and neighbor Scott Hagemeier. He is preceded in death by his parents: George and Rosella (Doll) Ryder, and one sister, Pearl Ryder. Per Johns request he will be cremated and laid to rest in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Vincennes at a later date.
