Jackie Eugene Bare

Jackie Eugene(Jack) Bare, 82, of Bicknell, passed away February 21, 2021 at in Bicknell. Jack was born Friday, September 30, 1938, in Westphalia, Indiana, the Son of Keneth Eugene and Bernita Beulah (Chesnut) Bare. He married Emily (Helderman) on Wednesday, February 2nd, 1972. He worked for the Knox County Highway Dept. Anyone that knew Jack knew he loved Mountain Dew, Cigarettes, Working on cars and Watching the local kids play baseball.
Jack is survived by his two children, Jackie Joe Bare (Candace) of Birch Run, MI and Teresa Baize of Bicknell, IN; and one sister, Nancy Padgett of Westphalia, IN. thirty-five grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren and 27 Great Great Grandchildren; Stepchildren Larry Harsha of Edwardsport In, Linda Evinger of Glendale In, Mike Harsha of Sandborn In, David Harsha of Vincennes In, Terry Harsha of Freelandville In, Dennis Harsha Vincennes In, Brenda Bennett of Bruceville In, Carolyn Sue Broady of Wheatland In. he was preceded in death by his spouse Emily "Helderman" Bare and five siblings, Ronnie Joe Bare, Kenneth (Buddy) Bare, Wanda Burress, Brenda K Volling, and Wilma Dean Abel, 1 stepson Ricky Harsha. A Funeral will take place at 2 P.M. Friday February 26, 2021at the Bicknell 1st Baptist Church with Rev. Seth Alexander officiating. Friends and family may visit from 12 P.M. until the time of the Service also at the Church. He will be laid to rest at Bicknell Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be made in Jacks Memory to the Bicknell 1st Baptist Church.
