Harland Ross Hambrick 65 of Bicknell, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, September 5, 2021.
Jr. was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 25, 1956 to the late Harland Hambrick Sr. and Barbara Jane Smith Hambrick.
Jr. grew up near Martinsville, IN then moved to Edwardsport in the 70’s. He was a welder most of his life; and he even once built a hot rod from the ground up. Jr. welded until his hands wouldn’t work the way they use to and he finally had to give it up. Jr had to have surgery on my hands to release the tendons in his fingers. After that Jr began cooking, and he loved it and was pretty good at it; he cooked for many different occasions including church dinners. Before his hands got so bad, he also enjoyed making dreamcatchers and painting different things. Jr loved to fish and has caught some as long as he was tall (which was probably his favorite pass time.) He enjoyed Sci-Fi movies and Clint Eastwood movies, and listening to classic rock.
Survivors include; loving children, Candice “Candi” Walburn (Michael) of Petersburg; grandchildren, Anthony, Jasmine, Kaleb, Emma, and Brooklyn; siblings, Bob Hambrick of Washington, IN, Joan Henderson of Poland, IN, Cheryl Pryor of Bicknell, and Frank Hambrick of Edwardsport, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by; his parents; a son, Harland “Ross” Hambrick III; grandson, Austyn Walburn; siblings, Bill Hambrick, and George Hambrick.
There will be a visitation on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Bicknell Xtreme Nazarene from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. with services following at 2:00 P.M. also at the church.
