Ethel Clark Obituary

Ethel Eileen Clark 73 of Bicknell, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Ethel was born in Vincennes, IN on August 29, 1948 to the late James Wood and Lula Mae Pickett Wood. Ethel retired from JayC Foods in Vincennes, IN in 2010. She loved her late husband Don with all her heart and soul; they were soulmates and Don was her Knight in Shining Armor. Ethel loved being outdoors; she also loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. Ethel was a member of the DAV Womens Auxiliary where she served as a president. She enjoyed listening to country gospel, cake decorating, and the board game aggravation. Those left to mourn the loss of Ethel are; her loving children, Debbie Anthis  (Joe Cox) of Bicknell, IN, Franklin Anthis (Tammy) of FL, Raymond Clark (Jenny) of Emison, IN., Beverly Kerstiens (John) of Jasper,IN., Leo Wood and Bobby Smith-Carrie of Vincennes, IN., James “Jimmy” Wood of Emison,IN.,Steve Wood (Janiece “Jan”) of Vincennes, IN., Nina Ray Montgomery-Baetke (Dale) of Idaho, Brenda Blaze (John) of FL; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild (with one on the way); and many nieces and nephews. Ethel was preceded in death by; parents; husband, Donald Ray Clark; siblings, Benny Wood, Elizabeth “Betty” Hensley, and Daniel “Danny” Wood. Services will be held at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Oaktown Chapel on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until time of service also at the funeral home.
