Douglas Alan Gaultney

Douglas Alan Gaultney 63, of Bruceville, IN passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2022.
Doug was born in Hartford, KY on July 6, 1958 to the late Robert Gaultney and Norma “Thompson” Fleener.
Doug had owned Gaultney Grading and the Gaultney Sealing. He began as a laborer for Rogers Group and worked his way to operator then foreman. He was employed with Rogers Group for 20+ years and a member of the Local 841 Operating Engineers Union. He enjoyed hunting, playing darts/pool and watching racing. His choice of race day was alongside his son Evan at the dirt track cheering him on. 
He is survived by; children, Aspen Gaultney and companion Javier Ayala of Bruceville, Jordan and Josh Johnson of Vincennes, Ciara and Nick Goodwin of Bicknell, and Evan and Jeri-Ann Gaultney of Wadesville, IN; sister Lesa Pegg of Muncie, IN, nine grandchildren; Chloe Cardinal, Cohen Williams, Sebastian Ayala, Catalina Ayala, Maddox Bahr, Carter Johnson, Cruz Becher, Sydney Johnson and Caidence Goodwin
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Gaultney and Norma “Thompson” Fleener; and a sister, Denise Kleysteuber.
There will be a memorial visitation held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes chapel. Memorial service will be preformed by John McClure at 12pm and visitation to follow later from 4-7pm both of which are open to the public.
