Dorothy M (Linneweber) Sams

Dorothy M. Sams, 93, of Freelandville, passed away March 12, 2021 at The Health Center at Glenburn in Linton In.  Dorothy was born Saturday, April 2, 1927, in Edwardsport Indiana, the Daughter of Fred C. and Lydia "Sander"  Linneweber.  She graduated from the Edwardsport High School in 1945. After graduation she attended Lockyear Business College in Evansville, In and later she worked in the office at Johnson Controls. after Dorothy Graduated she went to work for Johnson Controls until her retirement, she was also a member of the Bethel Church in Freelandville. 

Dorothy was survived by three children, Tom Sams of Santa Clara, CA, Linda Young of San Jose, CA, and Cindy Lincke of Los Molinos, CA; two grandchildren, Steven Sams of Portugal and Alicia Hoffman (Nick) of Morgan Hills, CA; three siblings, Joyce Myers (Lewis) of Freelandville, IN, Earl Linneweber of Carlisle, IN, and David Linneweber (Valaine) of Vincennes, IN; and her Great-grandson, Nathan Hoffman, and Great-granddaughter Ashlyn Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her parents; Fred C. and Lydia "Sander" Linneweber and one brother, Charles Linneweber.

 A Funeral will take place 11 A.M.  Saturday March 20, 2021 at the Bethel Church 13673 E. State Road 58 Edwardsport In 47528with Pastor Jeff Fulk  officiating. Friends and family may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of the service also at the church. . She will be laid to rest at the Bethel Cemetery.
