Dexter John Kroeger, 75 of Vincennes, went to his heavenly home on Friday, November 27, 2020.
Dexter was born on December 28, 1944 in Vincennes, IN to the late Max Kroeger and Irene (Fleck) Kroeger.
Dexter was a 1962 graduate of Central Catholic School and a devoted member of St. Francis Xavier Parish. He served his country as a member of the United States Army National Guard for 6 years and worked for himself doing contract labor.
Dexter is survived by; his loving wife of 56 years, Ruth “Allen” Kroeger; children, Elizabeth Walker (Raymond) of Elkhart; 5 grandchildren, Jordan Thomas (Shane) of Indianapolis, Allison Murphy (Blake Adkins) of Elkhart, Shelby Stoughton (Dakota) of Oceanside, CA, Madison Kroeger of Birmingham, AL and Morgan Kroeger of Huntsville, AL; 1 sister, Rita Johnson (Tony) of Vincennes; and a brother, Bill Kroeger (Jamie) of Vincennes; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; his parents; and 2 sons, Brent and Chadd Kroeger.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel with a Mass of Christian Burial following on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Parish with Father Tony Ernst officiating.
