Beth Ann Saucerman

Beth Ann “Howard” Saucerman 69, of Edwardsport IN, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
Beth was born on May 25, 1953 in Bicknell to the late Jim Howard and Jane Lloyd Howard.
Beth grew up in Bicknell and graduated from North Knox in 1972. Beth met Lonny in 1969 and they dated until they were married on January 13, 1974. Beth was employed by Montgomery Ward and the Merry Christmas Shop until the birth of her first child. She then became a stay at home mom, raising and enjoying her children. After her children were grown Beth and her friend Susie Cardinal started Peddlers Flower and Gift Shop. Her next job was as a teacher’s aide for North Knox School Corp.This job was Beth’s joy and she made many friends over several years, especially the children she helped. Beth loved family gatherings and cooking for all those who could attend. She loved when her grandchildren would come over and especially loved sleep-overs with them. She loved her dog Ruby who was a great comfort during her last years at home as Beth began her journey with cancer in 2016 and it ended when the Lord called her home.
Those left to mourn the loss of Beth are; loving husband, Lonny Saucerman; children, Jared Saucerman (Mindy), Sarah Memering (Mark), J.D. Saucerman (Jessica); grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Makinnley, Mac, Mae, Maggie, Marah, Alex, and Aven; siblings, Jim Howard, Jane Myers (Brian); several nieces and nephews, 1 great nephew Michael Summers and many cousins and close friends, and sister-in-law, Nancy Ehlers (Dennis), and brother-in-law, Dave Saucerman (Linda).

A memorial service will be held 2 P.M.  Monday  January 2, 2023 at the Word of Life Church. The family will receive friends from 12 until the time of the service.  Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Bicknell Chapel is honored to be entrusted with arrangements. The family welcomes online condolences to be left at www.fredrickandson.com
