William John Paul Stivers

William John Paul Stivers, 56 of Vincennes went to his heavenly home on Thursday, September 19, 2019.

William was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on February 18, 1963 to the late Edward Stivers and Mary (Leonard) Stivers and was wed to Bonnie Easton on June 29, 1984. William was employed by the Knox County Parks and Recreation in the maintenance department. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved working on cars. 

William is survived by; his daughters, Amber Stewart (Brandon) of Vincennes, Ashley Rolland (Matthew) of Lawrenceville, IL.; sons, Nathan Stivers (Cassy) of Lawrenceville, IL., and Michael Stivers of Vincennes; three brothers, Pete Mascee of Collinsville, IL., Harvey Stivers of Van Buren of MO., and Arnold Stivers of Union, MO.; three sisters, Rosie Lathan of Bellville, IL., Linda Orr of Cahokia, IL., and Kathy Stivers of Bellville, IL.; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by; his loving wife, Bonnie Stivers; parents; one son, Christopher Stivers; two brothers; and one sister.

There will be a funeral service held at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. conducted by Rev. Phillip Easton, with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. You may leave the family an online condolence at www.fredrickandson.com.
