Micheal O Dixon

Micheal”Mike” O. Dixon, 58 of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away on Friday July 26, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on September 20, 1960 the son of Noble J and Norma Jean (Garvey) Dixon.

Mike attended Lincoln High School, he was a member of the Laborers International Union Local No. 561 of Evansville. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he enjoyed playing cards. Mike enjoyed doing magic tricks and telling jokes to those he encountered. He also enjoyed finding “treasures” at yard sales.

Mike is survived by a son Sean Micheal(Kristin) Dixon of Indianapolis; and his twin toddler grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Marshall and June Dixon. He is also survived by his mother, Norma Jean (Garvey) Dixon of Vincennes, his siblings Jim Dixon of Anchorage, Alaska; Bob Dixon of Princeton; Marilyn(Dexter)Pea of Freelandville; Shirley Kiel of Vincennes; Janis(Reg) McKinley of The Villages, Florida; Ann(Kurt) Keyes of The Villages, Florida; Pat Dixon of Vincennes; Steve Dixon of  Indianapolis; Chris Dixon and partner Patty of Vincennes; Susan Geick of Overland Park, Kansas; and Mike’s partner Roberta Ann Dalton, of Vincennes, along several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Noble J. Dixon; a brother, Joseph L. Dixon

Visitation will be on, Friday August 2, 2019, from 4:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel. A private burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
