Kenneth D. Lay, 71 of Vincennes, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, October 26, 2019 while at Gentle Care of Vincennes.
Kenneth was born in Gary, IN on February 12, 1948 to the late Vance and Esther (Demars) Lay. Kenneth attended Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was an avid fisherman who enjoyed being outdoors.
He is survived by; his loving wife, Gertrude (Ogle) Lay; children, Stephanie Brooks (Chris) of Cleveland, AL, Debbie Upchurch (Jim) of Talladega, AL, and Kendra Bradford (Chris) of Kimberly, AL; two brothers, Michael Lay (Barbara) of Lake Mary, FL, and Joe Lay (Susan) of Vincennes; three sisters, Debra McCoy of Lawrenceville, IL, Sherry Hamilton (Dick) of Lawrenceville, IL, and Cindy Fields (Jimmy Kiesel) of Fort Branch; and several grandchildren.
Kenneth was also preceded in death by an infant sister Marsha Lay.
Arrangements are private and will be held at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel, with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
