Judith Ann Wicks

Judith A. Wampler-Wicks, 77, Vincennes, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at United Methodist Village North Campus in Lawrenceville, IL. Judith was born July 2, 1940, in Bicknell, the daughter of Walter and Lucy (Major) Wampler. She married James Michael Wicks in 1976. She was a retired elementary school teacher, teaching at Lincoln Wood District 74 in Lincoln Wood, IL, a year in California, and taught in Carpentersville, IL.
Judith is survived by her sister, Sue Hildebrand of Hamilton, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Wicks in 2004; sister, Betty Snyder; and brother, Joe Wampler.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Bicknell Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vincennes Pet Port or a charity of the donor’s choice. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
