Juanita A. Westfall

Juanita A. Westfall, 91, Vincennes, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Juanita was born August 6, 1927, in West Palm Beach, FL, the daughter of Clyde R. and Elizabeth A. (Myers) Steele. She married Thomas R. Westfall on December 26, 1946. She was a unit clerk at Good Samaritan Hospital. Juanita was also a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and was formerly on the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church council.
Juanita is survived by her children, Cyndi J. Rinehart of Vincennes, Ann E. Burnworth of Bloomington, IN, Maria C. Brown of Bloomington, IN, Tommy R. Westfall II of Vincennes and Clyde R. Westfall of Gardner, IL; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Shepard of Carmel, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas R. Westfall on April 6, 2012; daughters, Kathie M. Mattox and Judy Westfall; son, Jon Westfall; and sister, Betty Jane Melvin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 12:00 noon at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Dave Fleck officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 10:00 AM until 11:40 AM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. She will be laid to rest at St. Vincent’s Cemetery.
