Juanita Stremming

Juanita Stremming, 92, a lifelong resident of Bicknell, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Juanita was born September 25, 1925, in Hillside, KY, the daughter of Henry and Eva (Hack) Hogan. She married Raymond Stremming on April 22, 1946. Juanita and her husband owned and operated Stremming’s Jewelry Store for 52 years. Juanita is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Tom) Porter of St. Francisville, IL and Diane Stremming of Haubstadt; son, Dennis (Sandy) Stremming of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; siblings, H.T. Hogan of Hillsdale, KY, Henrietta Eldridge of Princeton, KY, Willene Yagle of Indianapolis and Betty Jo Jeffris of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond on March 18, 2017; a great-granddaughter; brother, Richard Hogan; and sister, Alvaro Chambers.
A graveside service will be held at Bicknell Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Glen Archer officiating. A private family visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until time of service. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
