Jeanette Gail Rickard

Jeanette Gail (Grizzle) Rickard, 70, Oaktown, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her home. Jeanette was born August 23, 1947, in Oaktown, the daughter of Homer and Ethel (Harrington) Grizzle. Jeanette was a homemaker. The joys of her life included her kids, grandkids and her flower garden. 

She is survived by her children, Heather (Jerry Melvin) Lytle of Vincennes, Leslie (John) Brewer of Monroe City and Joseph (Victoria) Rickard  of Oaktown; sister, Marian (David) Vaughn of Terre Haute. She was blessed with nine grandchildren, Paul Richardson, Sara Archer, April Grizzle, Brooke Grizzle, Jacob Grizzle, Natalee Rickard, Emilee Rickard, Joshua Gibson and Alyeia Gibson; great-grandchildren, Valerie and Eli Valesquez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Craig Grizzle; and sisters, Charlotte Hill and Carol Grizzle.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Oaktown Chapel with Pastor Glenn Archer officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM also at the funeral home.
