Jannette Louise Cullop, 75, Bruceville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at home with her daughters by her side. Jannette was born April 14, 1944, in Salem, IL, was the daughter of Estes Eugene Eisenhut and Martha Augusta Eisenhut. She was a servant of the Lord all her life. She married Theodore Harvey Cullop Jr. on December 21, 1963, who passed away in 2018.
Jannette was a 1962 graduate of Vincennes Lincoln HS. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Vincennes University and her Master’s Degree from Indiana State University. Before retirement, she worked as a teacher at North Knox East Elementary School. She attended Freelandville Christian Church and was devoted to studying the Word of God. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, making jellies and jams as well as watching western movies, especially those starring John Wayne. She loved spending time with family and spoiling her grandchildren. She was an avid coin and spoon collector as well as a fan of Toledo Women’s Basketball. She was also a member of the North Knox Neighbors Club.
She is survived by three daughters, Tracy (Jeff) Carlisle of Bruceville, IN, Tammy (Darren) Nichols of Dacula, GA and Tricia Cullop of Toledo, OH; four grandchildren Heather Carlisle, Tyler Carlisle, Jared Nichols and Tanner Nichols; siblings Donna Thomas of Vincennes, IN and Lois Dunn of The Villages, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers James Eisenhut and Charles Eisenhut and one sister Phyllis McCoy.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 11, 2019 at 10 A.M. at the Freelandville Christian Church with Pastor Larry Schultz officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday May 10, 2019 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes Bruceville Chapel. She will be laid to rest at the Bruceville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bruceville Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
