Donna Jo Willis

Donna Jo Willis, 82, Washington, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Daviess Community Hospital. Donna was born May 13, 1935, in Bicknell, the daughter of Lawrence “Pat” and Mary (Yatsko) Kovaleski. She was a teacher at North Knox Primary School. She was the head of the North Knox Teacher’s Association and involved with Tri Kappa. Donna enjoyed reading, playing cards and bowling leagues. She was a member of the Bicknell First Baptist Church. 

Donna is survived by her children, David Willis of Bicknell and Robin Willis of Ellettsville, IN; brothers, Frank (Jonell) Kovaleski of Anderson and Carl (Vicki) Kovaleski of Washington;  sister-in-law, Donna Kovaleski Tyndall of Brownburg, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Larry Kovaleski.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel with Rev. Seth Alexander officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM also at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Bicknell Memorial Cemetery.
