So sorry to hear of Alvin's passing. I haven't seen him in years but hearing the news immediately brought my childhood back and the memories of the old neighborhood. I remember how the boys learned to whistle like my dad just to see my sister and I take off running for home only to fine Daddy hadn't whistled for us to come home but one of the boys in the neighborhood had just to see us run!! They always thought that was just hilarious but Terry and I did not!! Please accept my sympathy for your loss. God Bless!!

To the family, I know your hearts are broken as is mine. I pray for peace and comfort for all of you and I ask God to bless you through your grieving process. Alvin and I became unmeasurable friends 52 years ago when he was 13 and I was 16 . He became like a son to my mom and dad and they spent many wonderful moments fishing together. He was the best friend I could ever ask for those many years ago. There has always been that very special place in my heart that now is empty. That love will never die. I wish more than anything that I could be there but due to circumstances beyond my control, only my love, thoughts
and prayers are with you today. God Bless all of you
