Allen W. Davis

Allen W. Davis, 51, Bicknell, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his residence. Born July 16, 1965, in Gibson County, he was the son of Burnell Richard Davis and Jeanie Gillespie (Shaw) Davis. He was a sorter for Goodwill. He loved to listen to music, especially KISS, watching IU basketball and making shortbread. Allen was a member of Mariah Creek Chapel Church.
Allen is survived by his father, Burnell Davis; siblings, Jeanette (Larry) Johnson of Bruceville, Jeannette Swope of Vincennes, Brian Davis of Vincennes, Janie Vaughn of Vincennes, Tammy Davis of Vincennes and Bill (Brandi) Davis of Vincennes; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and niece, Jessica Harris.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mariah Creek Chapel Church. Funeral services will be held immediately after also at the church with Pastor Matt Hoffman officiating.
